Preparation Guide
Proper preparation is key to a successful MUN experience. Here's a comprehensive guide to help you prepare:
Research Your Country
Thoroughly research your assigned country's position on the committee topics. Understand its history, foreign policy, and current stance on relevant issues.
Write Position Papers
Prepare position papers that clearly articulate your country's stance on each topic. These should be well-researched and professionally written.
Practice Public Speaking
Develop your public speaking skills. Practice delivering speeches, making points, and responding to questions confidently and clearly.
Understand MUN Procedure
Familiarize yourself with MUN rules of procedure, including how to make motions, yield time, and participate in moderated and unmoderated caucuses.
What to Expect
Day 1: Opening Ceremony
The conference begins with an inspiring opening ceremony featuring distinguished guest speakers, followed by committee sessions and social events.
Days 2-3: Committee Sessions
Intensive committee work including formal debate, caucusing, resolution writing, and voting. Delegates collaborate to address complex global issues.
Final Day: Closing Ceremony
The conference concludes with awards ceremony recognizing outstanding delegates, followed by a closing address and celebration.
